The Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO) has reiterated its commitment to promoting sustainable development through investments in people, communities and social welfare programmes across Bauchi State.

The organisation made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi, who commended its founder, Dr Bala Maijama’a Wunti, for his contributions to humanitarian service and community development.

Representing the organisation’s Chief Executive Officer, Malam Mukhtar Ahmed Jarmajo, the State Coordinator, Hon. Sha’abdin Bello Zalanga, said BWSO’s activities are guided by the belief that meaningful development can only be achieved through deliberate investment in human capital.

He explained that the organisation remains focused on addressing critical social challenges, empowering youths, supporting vulnerable populations and creating opportunities for economic growth.

Zalanga also emphasised the importance of traditional institutions in advancing grassroots development, describing them as strategic partners in fostering peaceful coexistence and community mobilisation.
In his remarks, the Emir praised Dr Wunti’s enduring connection with Jama’are Emirate and acknowledged the positive impact of his interventions in education, healthcare and community development.

He encouraged the organisation to sustain its efforts and assured it of the emirate’s support in achieving its developmental objectives. NNL.
