The Bauchi State Government has strengthened its partnership with the Renewed Hope Initiative and the North East Development Commission to deliver food assistance to vulnerable residents during Ramadan.

Leading the distribution, Hajiya (Dr.) Aisha Bala Mohammed said the programme reflects the power of collaboration in addressing social challenges and promoting inclusiveness.

Over 2,400 bags of rice and other essential commodities were distributed, with additional supplies expected. The Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development also contributed food items to expand the reach of the intervention.

Officials said the exercise forms part of broader efforts to cushion economic hardship and promote sustainable social support across the state. NNL.
