A contractor, Olugbenga Obadina who is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for receiving payments from the Office of the National Security Adviser, (NSA) on November 28, 2015 without any contractual agreement on Monday, May 20, 2024 before Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court, Abuja that the payments made to his company, Almond Projects Limited was neither meant for installation of power plant in Yobe State nor for any power project whatsoever in the state.

Justice S. N. Odili of the Anambra State High Court sitting in Onitsha, Anambra State, has convicted and sentenced a former manager with First City Monument Bank, FCMB, Onitsha branch, Nwachukwu Placidus, to a cumulative 121 years imprisonment for diverting fixed deposit funds of a customer to the tune of N112,100,000( One Hundred and Twelve Million, One Hundred Thousand Naira only) for his personal use.
