The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, mspsp, has decorated four newly promoted senior officers, charging them to remain disciplined, dedicated, and uphold the highest standards of integrity.

The officers are DCPs Olubisi Oyedeji Oyedepo and Ukwa Bernard Amaga, promoted from Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP), and ACPs Afam Christopher Ofomata and Gladys Okafor, promoted from Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP).

Addressing the officers, CP Giwa congratulated them and noted that their promotions come with greater responsibilities and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through professionalism, diligence, and exemplary conduct. He stressed that they would be judged by their competence, commitment, and integrity, and encouraged them to remain steadfast in the discharge of their duties.

Responding on behalf of the promoted officers, DCP Olubisi Oyedeji Oyedepo expressed appreciation to the Police Service Commission for approving their promotions and to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, for recommending them. He also thanked the Commissioner of Police for his exemplary leadership and guidance, assuring that they would continue to serve with renewed commitment and professionalism.

The decoration ceremony, according to the Command's Spokesman, SP Dan Ndukwe, was attended by members of the Command's management team, other officers, as well as family members and friends of the promoted officers. NNL.
