The Sokoto State chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Haruna Adiya has said members of the party is known for respect, decency and cherished reputation, hence standing out in every of their endeavours.
Alhaji Haruna who said attempts by members of the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) to paint them black or use falshod to tarnish their hard esrn integrity will fail woefully, further affirmed that they believe in mature politicking.
According to him, the performances of their leaders from Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko to that of the Governor Ahmed Aliyu and all other elected representatives has been very fanatstic considering the positive effects of their programmes and policies on the lives of the electorates.
Alhaji Adiya who is also the Sokoto State Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, while responding to allegation that the APC was responsible for attacks on members of the opposition ADC in the State said, members of his party are responsible individuals who believe in using their achievements to gain acceptability amongst electorates.
Continuing, Adiya said the ADC was only crying foul because they are not on ground and has no political acceptability in the state.
"The people of Sokoto and even those of the ADC know long before now that criminality has never been part of the APC members brought up.
"The APC is not responsible for any attack against anybody because we play politics with decency. We play politics with respect for human dignity.
"We, members of the APC listen to our leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko who always preach peace and peaceful democratic process at all times.
"Therefore, violence is not in our character. We have never and will never sponsor anybody to attack anyone on our behalf", Sokoto APC chairman, Haruna Adiya emphasized.
Alhaji Haruna reminded that they will only use the ballot paper and it's result after the election not violence to show the ADC how accepted they are in the State and Nigeria at large come 2027. NNL.
