The 2023 National Biennial Convention of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) has been scheduled to take place in Owerri, the Imo state capital, between Thursday, June 15 and Saturday, 17, 2023.

The June Convention is designed to conduct elections to usher in a new executive committee to pilot the affairs of the professional body for the next two years. It will also afford the Nigerian Editors and Media Executives a huge opportunity to examine media issues arising from the 2023 post-election.

The theme of the Biennial Confab, according to a statement on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 by the NGE General Secretary, Dr Iyobosa Uwugiaren, is: “Post 2023 Election: Promoting Professionalism for Enhancement of Democracy and Good Governance’’

The NGE Scribe who invites its financial delegate members for the Convention, however, said the event will be held at Rockview Hotel Owerri, Imo State, South East, Nigeria. NNL.
