Nigeria's President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Thursday, arrived Abidjan, the capital of Côte d'Ivoire, as the head of the Federal Government delegation to the quarter final football match between Nigeria's Super Eagles and the Palancas Negras of Angola.

Akpabio who was accompanied in that delegation by the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, met with the leadership of the Cote d'Ivoire Parliament led by its Speaker, Adama Bictogo.

Akpabio formally thanked them for their support towards his emergence as Executive Committee member of Inter Parliamentary Union, last year in Angola. NNL.
