Google recently offered a limited-time combo promotion that included Stadia Controller and 2020 Chromecast. But now, as reported by 9to5Google, the company has bundled the two into a permanent package called "play and watch."
Both the streaming dongle and controller are included in the $99.99 price. Comparatively, purchasing both products separately would save you $19. Additionally, Google recommends the Chromecast ethernet adapter as a recommended accessory; if you want to experience Stadia as best as possible, it is probably a good buy - and it's a mere $9.99 ($10 off) when purchased with the bundle.
Amid a glut of old, puck-shaped Chromecast Ultras, Google is once again slashing the price of its Stadia Premiere Edition bundle to $79.99. Google TV definitely has an advantage over the older Chromecast. Newer devices provide a better streaming experience. It might be worth it if you're using it strictly as a gateway to Stadia.
Google now supports select Android TV products with its game streaming service. Essentially, if you have a TV with that software, all you need is either Google's controller or a Bluetooth gamepad compatible with it.
