• Warned Strict Compliance of Strategies To Ensure Safety Across The State

The Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, on Friday, held a strategic security meeting with senior officers of the Command.

Present at the meeting were Area Commanders, Squadron Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and VCRU Commander.

The essence of the meeting was to analyze security mechanisms in the State and to emplace additional strategies for crime prevention and detection as proactive measures to ensure safety across the State.

Addressing the officers, the CP emphasized the directive of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) on the enforcement against unregistered vehicles and covered plate numbers. He stressed that officers must maintain professionalism while carrying out this directive. Offenders are to be charged to court and warned that enforcement process must not become an avenue for unprofessional conduct.

The CP, according to the Command's Spokeswoman, DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka, also warned supervising officers to ensure adequate monitoring of their subordinates to avoid vicarious liability and to uphold professionalism in the discharge of their official duties. NNL.
