The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has issued a public alert about the existence of a fake Facebook page purported to belong to or affiliated with the Service.

The NCS in a public notice described the said Facebook page as 'fraudulent and has no affiliation with the Service'.

Authorities of the Nigeria Customs Service strongly advised members of the public not to patronize the page or make any payments for purported vehicle sales or auctions advertised on it.

"To avoid falling victim to fraud, always verify information through the official Nigeria Customs Service communication channels.
