- Names Event Center, Hall After Them

The Sokoto State chapter of Nigeria Bar Association also refered to as the Caliphate Bar has immortalized two of it's late prominent members, Barristers Bello Mahmud and Inuwa Abdulkadir.
The decision which was aimed at ensuring retainance of their legacies, saw to the naming of the event center after late Barrister Bello Mahmuh and the Hall after late Barrister Inuwa Andulkadir.
The State NBA Secretariat referred to as Hon. Justice Frank C.Udeh house has within the last two years since the assumption of office of Barrister Rashdat Mohammed, become a beehive of activities.
Speaking on why the decision to immortalize the two individuals, the State NBA chairman, Rashidat said it is to ensure that history remember them for the good contributions they have made to the growth of the NBA.
According to her, the entire NBA State Secretariat still remain Hon. Justice Frank C. Udah house, however, the event center and hall has been so named as a mark of respect for those whom it's due.
"And the intent is to also prove to all that no good intention and selfless service will ever go unnoticed. The human recognition might not be immediate but Almighty Allah always reward good deeds here and the hear after.
The late Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir while alive was a prominent legal practitioner, political strategist, administrator and a northern leader.
Valued for his intellectual depth, the late Inuwa studied both in Ahmadu Bello University and Usmanu Dangodiyo University where he obtained law degree went to law school and was called to bar in 1991.
The late legal czar, Abdulkadir began his career in public service as a State Counsel in the Sokoto State Ministry of Justice. And also served as Secretary of the Sokoto Sultanate Council, Member of the Sokoto State Penal Law Review Panel, Secretary of the Robbery and Firearms Tribunal, served as Attorney General and Commissioner of Justuce in Sokoto, Vice Presidential candidate of alongside Orji Uzor Kalu under the Progressive Peoples Alliance in 2003.
While alive, Inuwa also served as Minister of Youths Development as well as National Vice Chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) and Secretary Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) before his painful demise on 6th July, 2020 due to complications related to COVID-19 during the global pandemic.
Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir story is that of grace from humble background to simple courtroom and corridors of power where he gave his best.
The late Barrister Bello Mahmud, on the hand was very famous having served as Director of Compliance (CAC) then becoming the Registrar General of the Corporate Affairs Commission.
Hello, also a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria education at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria was called to Bar in 1979
He began his legal career as a State Counsel, Sokoto State Ministry of Justice and rose to the position of Principal State Counsel before moving to Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto as Principal Secretary and Assistant Director.
Having worked briefly in the private sector as well, Barrister Mahmud was in 1996 appointed Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Sokoto State. NNL.
