All the duly elected State Executive members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Sokoto state have been sworn-in on Monday at the party Secretariat.
Administrating oath of office and allegiance to the party on them, Barrister Abdullahi, charged them to keep to the oath at all times and treat members fairly.
Speaking after the oath of office, the State party chairman, Hon Sadiq Isa Achida, thanked the State party leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and congratulated all members of the party in Sokoto for their patience in the face of aggressions.
Said Achida, "Let me start by congratulating the just sworn in members of the State APC executive council. The efforts of our leader, Senator Wamakko, has brought us thus far and we are very grateful to the Almighty Allah. We know what happened but because God so chooses to make it come out this way.
"But I am appealing to all of us to note that, whatever that has happened has come and gone. We therefore open our doors widely for all to come. APC belongs to all, especially those who meant well for the party.
"With what happened today, we have just ignited our journey towards taking back the Sokoto Government House come 2023", Hon Achida said.
Earlier, one of the newly sworn in State Executives, Hon Argungu Maccido who spoke on behalf of others, said they thank God for the successes recorded during the number of Court cases that took place in Abuja.
"And for his steadfastness, we have to thank and register our sincere gratitude to the State leader of the party, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko. He firmly believe in the party which was the reason for this joyous day". NNL.
