- * Pledges Greater Service To Taraba Central Senatorial District

Former president of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Taraba state central senatorial candidate for the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Alhaji Boboyi Kaigama, has vowed to offer greater services to the people of the district if voted in the Saturday, February 25th National Assembly election.
Kaigama made the vow during the Taraba State Correspondents Media parley on Wednesday in Jalingo. He called on the people to vote out APC and PDP, stating that APC has failed in the new currency swap and PDP are the onset of corruption in the country.
The former TUC President assured his constituents of his determination to empower both the youth and women in his constituency to alleviate their unemployment situation.
According to him, “We're talking about a paradigm shift in government, and NNPP is the answer, an the epitome of Nigeria democracy. We are out to help and represents the local people. We're preparing on fresh beginning, and the Central Taraba is the the only zone I'm focusing on. The zone has been without University, good health care for a while in the state.
“I've engaged the electorates and they have accepted me, and I will particularly put forward the issue pertaining to Central Taraba first and also questions about the Mambila hydro power project.
“Central Taraba is very rich in natural resources with high intellectual people which I believe they will vote the right candidate. I'm more educationally advantaged than any senatorial candidate in Central Taraba. I'm prepared to represent the interest of the people. The selling of Mambila beverage is not transparent. I'll prioritize youth and women empowerment in Central Taraba”, he said.
Comrade Kaigama further stressed the plight of the local farmers and the challenges they face in transporting their farm produce due to bad roads. He promised to put forward their challenges to the National Assembly, if elected. NNL.
